This is the forum where Group Service Representatives and/or Area Committee Members meet to make decisions affecting the South Florida Spanish-Speaking Area. The purpose of the committee is to meet the shared needs of the groups that choose to be members.

Service-Related Resources:

The primary purpose is to organize activities and events designed to promote the area’s well-being and unity.

The Hospitals and Institutions Subcommittee is made up of NA members who initiate, coordinate, and lead all local H&I presentations within the Spanish-Speaking Area of Narcotics Anonymous. The purpose of the committee is to provide presentations that carry NA’s message of recovery to any addict in jails, hospitals, and institutions where attendance at regular NA meetings is restricted.

H&I Resources:

The purpose of this subcommittee is to coordinate efforts throughout our Area to keep the public informed about the existence of Narcotics Anonymous. It coordinates visits to certain institutions and community organizations to offer presentations about our recovery program. It establishes contact with the media to share information about our fellowship. It prepares announcements to be broadcast through news and information outlets. It is also responsible for creating flyers/handbills with NA-related information.

Public Relations Resources:

The purpose of this committee is to receive, store, and distribute our fellowship’s literature.

Literature Resources:

The purpose of the committee is to plan, coordinate, and carry out the South Florida Spanish-Speaking Area Convention.
